
Once you get used to certain keys combinations, things you do in any editor become easier and faster - Godot isn't the exception. So, If you are going to use the engine often or serious about the projects you build with it, it's a good idea to learn using shortcuts to change mode, fold/unfold panels and do other things, so you wouldn't have to drag your mouse every time searching for buttons and arrows.
Godot's default key combinations fall under several categories:
I've made 2 cheatsheets of some of the combinations I use often or would like to use and want them to be organized in one place so I can remember the shortcut by quickly looking at the picture. I grouped them under 2 sections:
